Susan G. Komen Florida Suncoast, based in St. Petersburg, announced today that due to the lingering impact of Hurricane Irma and the need of the community to focus on rebuilding, the organization is rescheduling its signature fundraising event to February 17, 2018.
“We understand how this date change will affect many of our participants and sponsors, and appreciate everyone’s understanding of the necessity of this change,” said Gina Kravitz, Komen Florida Suncoast’s Executive Director. “As a part of the community, we are sensitive to the immediate need to focus on rebuilding from the storm. We are here to support our neighbors in every way we can.”
