Treasure Island Beach Alcohol Regulations and Area MapYou can possess and even drink alcohol on the vast majority of Treasure Island's beach thanks to a citizen initiated referendum that was passed more than twenty years ago. In the last few years Caddy's Waterfront Beach Bar has become one of the most popular Spring Break and Summer Vacation hangouts along Florida’s West Gulf Coast. Large crowds of younger beach goers have been showing up each spring and summer causing various problems from illegal parking to public drunkenness and urination. To cope with these problems the Treasure Island City Commission has passed an emergency ordinance prohibiting the possession of alcohol along a certain stretch of beach during certain days and hours. The restrictions are Saturdays, Sundays, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day from 8am till 6pm. The map below shows you the restricted area.
